Return & Exchange Policy
Thank you for shopping with Maker’s Leather Supply. We work hard to offer the tools, materials, and templates that make leathercraft easier, more fun, and more rewarding — and we want you to be happy with your purchase. That said, we know sometimes things don’t work out. Here’s how we handle returns, exchanges, refunds, and shipping issues. 

 Returns 

You have 30 calendar days from the date you received your item to request a return. To be eligible: 
The item must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition as when you received it. 
It must also be in the original packaging (if applicable). 
Items not eligible for return include: 
Paper patterns 
Any leather that is on sale or discounted (includes Odd Lot)  
Any product where the description specifically states it is not eligible for return.

Exchanges & Warranties 

We stand behind the quality of our tools. 
Maker’s Tools (including pricking irons, buckstitch chisels, and diamond chisels) are covered by a warranty and may be exchanged or refunded on a case-by-case basis. 
Cobra Machinery comes with a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. Please reach out to us if you need help initiating a warranty claim. 
If an acrylic template arrives broken, please email a photo of the damaged template along with your order number to orders@makersleathersupply.com. 
We’ll get it taken care of.

Refunds 

Once we receive your returned item, we’ll inspect it and notify you of the status via email. If your return is approved, we’ll initiate a refund to your original payment method. 
Please Note: 
Refund timing depends on your card issuer’s policies. 
Shipping costs are nonrefundable.

Shipping & Lost Packages 

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, damaged product, etc.). 
Once a tracking number has been issued and your order has left our facility, it becomes the responsibility of the shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.). 
If your order is lost, delayed, or damaged in transit, we ask that you file a claim directly with the carrier.
